When I'm depressed (which is often), but have a little energy somehow (still), I try to fill my idle time with anything and everything that might prevent me from "thinking". It doesn't work of course. You can do a number of things at once and still think. And think too much. Incessantly.

Ugh.

One of my (many) distractions is an e-mail movie review newsletter The Self Made Critic. It used to be a part of the Brunching Shuttlecocks website, now, the Self Made Critic has it's own website. You used to be able to receive the reviews in e-mail, but now they only e-mails notices when there's a new entry.

Isn't change grand. (not!)

I'm perpetually obsessed with time. Or at least, I seem to be lately. For some days I was able to go without even wearing a watch. (amazingly enough). Now, I don't want to take it off. The precious minutes tick away and I'm counting every one. Depressing.

Knowing the real and actual time doesn't help make it pass slower. But at least it passes a bit more accurately. The Greenwich Mean Time website is where you can find the time anywhere. If only I had more. Ahem.

For years I've been trying to see a lunar eclipse. Last night I noticed the moon looked odd. Yes, well of course it looked strange, last night, there was a lunar eclipse occurring! I finally catch one and I didn't even know what I was looking at. Jeez. At least I finally got to see one. Pictures? Yes. Some from a Belgian Astrology site and another from a Dutch Weather Site. Nice.

I'm not "at home" currently, so I wonder if it was visible there. Usually, we have a cloudy sky or it rains (more clouds) or it just doesn't happen.

How fitting for it to happen during a period of time I'm actually feeling good. Well, for now. Like everything else that's good, it will have to end. And much too soon. It's always too soon.
